1. Who is responsible for your information
staying, operated under the staying brand by an individual proprietor based in Shanghai, China, is responsible for personal information processed to provide the staying service. Contact issue@staying.fun for privacy questions or requests.
2. Information we process
- Account information, such as your email address, profile details, authentication tokens, and account preferences.
- Code, configuration, and execution data that you submit for visualization, together with results needed to return the visualization.
- Billing records received from payment partners, including Paddle, such as customer, transaction, subscription, plan, status, and billing-period identifiers. staying does not receive your full payment-card number.
- Support messages, feedback, and related communications.
- Technical and usage information, such as IP address, device and browser data, requested pages, timestamps, diagnostic logs, and interaction analytics.
- Browser-stored preferences and local code history. Their stored copy remains on your device unless you choose a feature that submits or shares it.
3. How we use information
- Provide accounts, execute and visualize submitted code, preserve your settings, and deliver features you request.
- Confirm subscription status, enforce Free and Pro entitlements, provide billing support, and prevent duplicate or unauthorized access.
- Secure, troubleshoot, monitor, and improve the service.
- Respond to support requests and send service-related notices.
- Comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect users, staying, our payment partners, and third parties.
4. Code processing
Code submitted for visualization is transmitted to staying’s services and processed in an isolated execution environment to produce results. Do not include secrets, credentials, or unnecessary personal information in submitted code. Local code history is stored in your browser. If you choose a sharing or publishing feature, the information you select may be made available according to that feature’s controls.
5. Payments and payment partners
staying may use third-party payment partners or Merchants of Record identified during checkout. These providers independently process the payment and related information under their own privacy notices.
For purchases completed through Paddle, Paddle is the authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle independently processes checkout, payment instruments, taxes, receipts, refunds, fraud checks, and buyer support under its privacy notice, and sends staying the customer and subscription information needed to fulfill and support your purchase.
6. Analytics, cookies, and local storage
staying uses cookies or browser storage for authentication, language, interface preferences, and local feature state. Production pages may use a self-hosted Matomo service to understand usage and diagnose problems. Matomo may process device, network, page-view, and interaction data under its configured privacy controls. If staying temporarily introduces a session-replay service such as Microsoft Clarity for a redesign or investigation, the consent prompt and this policy will be updated before that service loads.
Optional analytics loads only after you allow it. You can review or withdraw that choice at any time through the fixed Analytics settings control. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics after the page reloads. You can also clear cookies and local storage through your browser. Blocking required storage may prevent login or other service features from working.
7. When information is shared
We share information only as needed with service providers that host, secure, analyze, or support staying; with payment partners, including Paddle, for paid purchases; when you direct us to share content; when required by law; or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the service. We do not sell your personal information for money.
8. Retention and security
We retain account and subscription information while needed to provide the service and meet legal, accounting, security, and dispute-resolution obligations. Operational logs and support records are retained only for as long as reasonably needed for those purposes. Browser-local information remains until you or your browser removes it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
9. International processing
staying and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use contractual or other lawful safeguards for international transfers. Information may be subject to the laws of the country where it is processed.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority. Send requests to issue@staying.fun from the email associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where law permits or requires it.
11. Children and policy updates
staying is not directed to children who cannot legally consent to the processing of their information. If you believe a child has provided information without required consent, contact us.
We may update this policy as the service or legal requirements change. The updated date will appear above, and we will provide additional notice when required by law.
