1. About staying

staying is a code-visualization service operated under the staying brand by an individual proprietor based in Shanghai, China. The service lets you submit code for execution and visualization and may provide related learning, sharing, and account features.

By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use staying.

2. Accounts and eligibility

• Provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure.
• You are responsible for activity performed through your account and must notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
• You must be legally able to enter into this agreement. If local law requires parental or guardian consent, you may use staying only with that consent.

3. Acceptable use

You may use staying only for lawful purposes.

• Do not submit content you do not have the right to use or that infringes another person’s rights.
• Do not upload malware, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt the service, probe its security, or use it to attack another system.
• Do not bypass plan limits, access controls, rate limits, or other technical safeguards.
• Do not use the service for fraud, abuse, harassment, or any activity prohibited by applicable law.

4. Your code and content

You retain ownership of code and content you submit. You grant staying a limited, non-exclusive license to transmit, process, execute, render, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, and support the service or a sharing feature you choose to use.

Do not submit secrets, production credentials, personal information you do not need to process, or confidential material unless you are authorized to do so. You are responsible for reviewing code and results before relying on or sharing them.

5. Paid subscriptions and payment partners

Paid purchases may be processed by a third-party payment partner or Merchant of Record. The partner identified during checkout and on your receipt applies to that transaction. staying provides access to the product under these Terms of Service.

For purchases completed through Paddle Checkout, Paddle is our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. The payment transaction, applicable taxes, receipt, and payment-related cancellation or refund processing are also governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms and Refund Policy.

Pro subscriptions renew automatically for the monthly or annual billing period selected at checkout until canceled. The price, currency, taxes, and renewal total shown by the applicable checkout apply to the transaction. Pro access depends on the payment partner confirming a qualifying subscription status.

You can manage or cancel your subscription from staying’s billing controls or the management route provided by the payment partner. Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, cancellation stops future renewal and access continues until the end of the current paid billing period. Cancellation does not by itself refund a completed charge.

6. Service availability and changes

We may update, maintain, or change the service as it evolves. Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, security, capacity, or events outside our reasonable control. We may suspend access when necessary to protect users, the service, or third parties.

We may change these terms prospectively. If a change materially affects paid use, we will provide notice where reasonably practicable or required by law. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.

7. Suspension and termination

You may stop using staying at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach, unlawful or harmful use, nonpayment, or a security risk. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue.

8. Disclaimers and liability

staying is provided on an “as available” basis. Code execution and visualizations are educational and diagnostic aids, not a guarantee that code is correct, secure, or suitable for production. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent liability may be limited, staying’s aggregate liability for a paid claim will not exceed the amount paid for the affected subscription during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People’s Republic of China, without limiting mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to a court with jurisdiction in Shanghai, unless mandatory law gives you another forum.
