Refund Policy
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work with the payment partner shown at checkout.
Browse sections
1. How payments and refunds are handled
Your payment and refund route depends on the payment partner or Merchant of Record identified during checkout and on your receipt. Refund eligibility is governed by this policy, the terms presented for that transaction, and any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
For purchases completed through Paddle Checkout, Paddle is our authorized reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle processes the charge, applicable taxes, receipts, cancellations, and refunds under Paddle’s Refund Policy and Buyer Terms.
2. Canceling a subscription
You may cancel through staying’s subscription-management link or the management route provided by the payment partner on your receipt or confirmation email. For a Paddle purchase, you may also use the Paddle buyer portal or Paddle buyer support. Cancellation prevents the next renewal and normally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period. It does not automatically refund the current period.
3. Requesting a refund
- Start with the receipt or subscription-management link provided by the payment partner. For a Paddle purchase, you may visit paddle.net and choose the refund-support option.
- Include the email used for purchase, transaction or receipt details, and a short explanation of the request.
- The payment partner processes approved refunds to the original payment method where possible. Processing time depends on the payment method and financial institution.
- staying will not ask you to bypass the original payment partner by accepting a separate transfer and will not request your full payment-card details.
4. Technical or product problems
If a persistent technical problem or material defect prevents access to paid features, contact issue@staying.fun first so we can investigate. If the issue cannot be resolved, request a refund through the payment partner shown on your receipt and include the support history. For a Paddle purchase, staying may support or initiate an appropriate full or partial refund through Paddle. We will not ask you to bypass the original payment partner.
5. Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits non-waivable rights under applicable consumer law. Depending on your location and how the digital service was used, you may have a statutory withdrawal or cancellation period. The current terms of the payment partner shown on your receipt explain its process and regional rules; where local law or an additional promise from staying gives you greater rights, the greater protection applies.
